I started directing in 2018, making the leap from Creative Director to Director.
Here’s a selection of some of the work I’ve directed so far.
“The Stool”
Squarespace Australia
Commercial for the Australian market, telling the story of Harry, a local legend who goes missing from a beloved pub, all thanks to Squarespace and its uncanny ability to turn anyone into an entrepreneur. The films were shot in a oner to heighten the feeling of abandonment left by Harry in our characters.

Hyundai
A series of spots for Hyundai, highlighting surprisingly awesome facts about Hyundai EVs. Narrated by the silky voice of Jason Bateman.

Squarespace Australia / New Zealand
The story of Captain Kev: a seasoned sailor who turn his old vessel into a wedding venue for half-Aussie, half-Kiwi couples who can’t decide where to get married, with the help of his trusted(ish) deckhand and a Squarespace website.

Now that John McEnroe has voiced a Netflix hit show, he wants to voice everything.
And he’s got a Squarespace website to prove it.

Puma World Cup
Puma’s 2010 World Cup commercial, elevating football to the rawest of all human emotions: Love.
Shot entirely in Africa with one crew going to Ghana and another to Ivory Coast, each scene was fully scripted but captured vérité to suspend disbelief and create a visceral depiction of what true love for football feels like.

Squarespace, The Artist & the Actor
with Joseph Lee
Short film featuring the Emmy-nominated actor from Beef, in a conversation with his other side, the painter.
Shot on film, with a few surprises along the way.

Bringing life to the network’s iconic logo through the iconic voices from its history.

Campaign for Pinterest shedding light on the different effects the same Pin can have on different people.

Aimed at young sneakerheads, each spot depicts a group of kids getting the logos out in the world.

The film features a range of gamers, from well-known pros with huge social followers to your average couch gamer.

My goal was to create a toy commercial that didn’t suck. I wanted to stay true to the unapologetically kitschy TV series and nod to the over the top action sequences, while keeping the action and wardrobe authentic to how kids play and dress up in real life.
